More Christmas Minis

My collection of Christmas miniatures has been growing. In the last couple of weeks, I’ve put together poinsettias, a wreath and a bunch of new ornaments.

The poinsettias started off as paper embellishments I found at Hobby Lobby. I added wire stems, extra leaves and glued them in a miniature flowerpot.

I had plenty of pearl beads left over from another project, so I put together a set of ornaments. They’re topped with bead caps I’ve had in my stash for a while, and I really love how they turned out!

New ornaments meant getting out the tree, but sadly, my princess pine tree didn’t survive being in storage for so many years. Honestly, it was a pain to decorate, liked to shed and was very delicate, so I’m not too bothered by it. I still have my other mini tree, so I replaced the bulky wood base and set it up for decorating.

The finishing touch…

Not bad!

It makes me really happy. ❀

  1. Now I know what to do with the little silver horse charm I have (exactly like yours)! I’ve never understood the lure of a mini Christmas tree before, but somehow this year…

    1. They’re pretty fun! πŸ™‚ I have to use tweezers to get the ornaments on though. Everything is so small!
