My collection of Christmas miniatures has been growing. In the last couple of weeks, I’ve put together poinsettias, a wreath and a bunch of new ornaments.
The poinsettias started off as paper embellishments I found at Hobby Lobby. I added wire stems, extra leaves and glued them in a miniature flowerpot.
I had plenty of pearl beads left over from another project, so I put together a set of ornaments. They’re topped with bead caps I’ve had in my stash for a while, and I really love how they turned out!
New ornaments meant getting out the tree, but sadly, my princess pine tree didn’t survive being in storage for so many years. Honestly, it was a pain to decorate, liked to shed and was very delicate, so I’m not too bothered by it. I still have my other mini tree, so I replaced the bulky wood base and set it up for decorating.
Not bad!
It makes me really happy. ❤
I absolutely love your attention to detail, right down to the kitty playing in the box!
Kitties always have to help!
Now I know what to do with the little silver horse charm I have (exactly like yours)! I’ve never understood the lure of a mini Christmas tree before, but somehow this year…
They’re pretty fun! 🙂 I have to use tweezers to get the ornaments on though. Everything is so small!
I love it! One question: where did you get that tree?
I bought it from Michaels in the early 2000’s. I’ve seen similar in other craft stores over the years!
Where did you get those mini lights? Do they actually light up?
I bought them from Michaels in the early 2000’s. They’re battery powered and do light up! 🙂
That is so cute! 😊
Thank you for sharing where you sourced everything to make these amazing little items!
