Last December I created this set of halter plates, but never shared them to my blog. Late is better than never, I guess!
Like the ones I created for BreyerFest, the strips are about 1/8″ wide and were made with Traditional scale halters in mind. There are ten different styles to choose from, and they can be easily cut to size and glued directly onto ribbon. (I like using Aleene’s Tacky glue for these) The strips can be left plain or coated with a finish such as Americana’s “Triple Thick” gloss glaze.
The PDF can be downloaded here:
I hope you enjoy them! ❤
Don’t know how to make a halter? Several tutorials can be found here on YouTube!
I buy 1/8″ ribbon from craft stores or the Hairbow Center, and hardware can be found at Rio Rondo or made from wire and jump rings.
