Last week I put together a blanket to fit my Henry/Fjord model. He also ended up getting a matching halter because, even though it’s been 2 years already, (yikes) I haven’t forgotten about the “halters for everyone!” project. I’m just… super slow.
Anyway.
I tried several new things with this blanket, mainly the thickness of the binding and lack of top stitching.
The straps are a new style for me too, along with the keepers in the front. Little details can make such a huge difference I think…

Very nice! The checks look great on him. I’m always amazed at how you get your rugs to curve to the horse’s back, I haven’t worked that out yet! 🙂
