Earlier this month I finished a set of ribbon pillows for Jennifer’s birthday:
Not a bay Bristol bowl, but I’m so happy she liked loved them anyway. 😀
Ever since then I’ve had ribbons on my mind. I’ve made mini NAN and Breyerfest inspired ribbons, and today, a set of basic horse show ribbons.
The centers are gold, but it’s tricky to pick up on camera. Annnd of course I messed some of them up, but it’s given me ideas on how to make the next ones look better.
Unlike the first set, the backs have a lot more detail, modeled after the full sized ribbons I own:
The possibilities are endless with these things, and I really want to try making some bigger, fancier rosettes like I did with the pillows. Remaking the first set of ribbons has been on my to-do list for ages, so I’m happy I got to try it today.

Those ribbons are gorgeous! Glad to see they worked out!
Those are awesome and soooooo realistic! 💖💖💖
You are so making progress!! They’re like the real thing.
How did yoy do that!
