I finally finished the cross stitch saddle pad I was working on:
This isn’t exactly the pattern I had in mind. I had to switch it up because I was running out of tan thread. (and it’s the cheap stuff so naturally there’s no similar shade of DMC floss! What’s up with that, Joann’s?)
Color and pattern aside, I’m pretty happy that it’s finally complete.
It’s a little bulky under the saddle and the edges aren’t exactly perfect, but hey! It was a first attempt. 🙂 Here’s the back for those curious:
Done and done! Next time I think I’ll buy one from someone else. (or make sure I have enough thread in the right colors before starting! :D)
