I don’t know about you, but I am so ready for Christmas. I don’t care that it’s “too early” and, judging from the amount of trees and lights I’ve seen up in my town, I know I’m not the only one. My hobby time has been limited, but I’ve been trying to plan out some fun Christmas-y projects for this year.
These two also arrived this week! Yuletide Greetings, the 2020 Holiday Horse, and Flourish, this year’s carousel ornament.
Yuletide Greetings is extra special. A while ago, Breyer approached me about putting together the prototype for his festive costume. The design is not mine- my task was to put together a 3D version based on their artwork.
It’s so cool to see it all together!
His costume attaches with a velcro girth, and the halter slips over his head with elastic straps. The garland hooks over the halter, and he has four elastic leg wraps. The leg wraps are a little fiddly, but overall the costume is easy to take on and off.
Underneath the costume, he’s a pretty bay.
I may be biased, but I think this is my favorite out of the Holiday Horse series. I’m so grateful to Breyer for allowing me to have a part in this horse’s creation. ❤ He came out beautifully and I hope many collectors will find him under their tree this year!
He is amazing! I think he is my favorite holiday horse too!
Wow! He is gorgeous! The only holiday horse I have is last year’s, but I think my favorite was Winter Wonderland from 2017. Although 2014’s was amazing too, so was 2018’s….. I could go on and on, their all amazing! 😛
love it!
