To my friends in the USA, Happy Thanksgiving! I hope that your day has been a pleasant one.
As many of you probably know, (if you’re on my FB page anyway) my grandfather passed away earlier this month after a battle with cancer. It’s been a rough few weeks, especially now that the holidays are here.
Still, I am thankful.
I’m thankful for the memories I have with my grandpa. There are so many.
I’m thankful for the trip down to CA we took last week. Even though it was hard (and 20 hours of driving left me dizzy for a couple days) I got to see family I haven’t seen in 9 years, so I’m incredibly thankful for that.
I’m thankful for my job and the people at work, who have all been very kind and understanding. I’m thankful for a day off to rest (I’m no longer a retail robin, hooray!) and how there’s a pumpkin pie in the fridge and a turkey breast in the crock pot.
I’m very thankful for this hobby too. Your comments/posts/PM’s have meant so much to me. Thank you.
Even though things are a bit rough right now, I’m still thankful. There is always, always, always something to be thankful for.
