Well done, taming the hair was a massive improvement, the clothes look real, I know you went through a lot of work to get this result but it is worth it. That crack in the top of her head with the hair off was a surprise wasn’t it.
I made it. 🙂 The text is an iron-on transfer, and I used a free Barbie-sized shirt pattern I found online. I had to resize and reshape it for a better fit, so it’s not perfect. Sewing doll clothes is hard, but I’ve found it helpful to watch tutorials on Youtube for larger dolls, like Barbies or ball jointed dolls, to get an idea of how pieces fit together.
Hi Nichelle! She turned out great! She looks like a Marina (meaning of the sea, not a dock) to me. An old neighbor of mine named her daughter Marina.
Oh, that’s a pretty name!
She looks awesome! Any name will work!
Jo.
She looks like Jo.

Thank you! 🙂
She looks great, you did a good job. Hmmm. I think she looks like a Tammy.
Since I’m reading the Gail McCarthy series, I’ll suggest Gayla. But I like Marina as well. She has a far-horizon look as well as the in-your-face one.
You did a great job!! Love it. Thinking of cowgirls, i think that Vanessa suits her really well.
What did you use to help make your blog? and was it free?
I started out with a free WordPress blog for many years, then purchased my own domain and one of their packages to remove ads. 🙂
Ah, Thank you so much Nichelle
Do you know of anyone who makes doll clothes? I suck at sewing so was wondering if anyone you know of sells them for this doll 😂
I don’t, sorry! 😦
I’ll just have to learn how to sew then! 😂 so you know where you got her “Keep calm and collect plastic ponies” shirt?
Do you know*
