I finished up a second Barcoo bridle recently:
I actually finished it last weekend, but it took me an entire week to get photos. (it’s just been one of those weeks, aghhh)
This is an “extended head” style bridle.
The reins are embroidery floss. They were created by sewing two 3 strand braids together, much like I used to do with Arabian tack.

I can find a couple things to criticize if I’m being super nitpicky, but I’m really happy -and for once, confident- with how this bridle turned out.
Its so nicely made! Where do you get the leather and clips/rings ?
Rio Rondo and Springfield Leather. The rings are jewelry findings from the craft store.
Ooh okay. Thanks š
Very nice! I like the reins, it’s a very clever technique you used to get the right width. š
I like those reins too. Good idea. Dundee really does inspire a tackmaker — now to put in the waiting before I can get one!
Love this bridle!
