Woah, it’s been a month!

And this poor little blog hasn’t been updated in weeks. How sad. 😦

Summer is starting! Summer brings tourists and the beginning of warm sunny weather here in Montana. (haha yeah right… it’s raining again!) It also brings holidays and vacations and get togethers with friends and family. For me, this means more hours at work. (all those people need to eat you know!) It’s something that I’m grateful for but also a bit annoyed with. Ah! Life, I guess!

Lately I haven’t had much time for making tack or anything else related to the hobby. In fact, right now I’m kind of banned from it for a few weeks thanks to my stupid wrists. They’ve been aching on and off for months now and I’ve come to realize that if I don’t make a good effort to let them rest, they’re going to get worse. (and I don’t want or need that at ALL right now, thanks!)

It’s a bit frustrating because I’ve been itching to start some new projects. Why is it when I have the motivation to actually work on something I’m unable to? Gah!

I need to stop whining.

So here is my silly update for the day/week/month/who knows. I’m still around, but probably won’t be posting very much. (as if I post much at all! :P)

  1. Good to know you’ll be updating soon! Your blog is a really fun read. What do you think you’ll do for your next project?

Also, here’s a very belated thank you for putting my blog link in your sidebar. I’ve gotten quite a bit of traffic through here. 😀

    1. I’ve got all the things I need (I hope, anyway) to start a dressage set. It’s been ages since I’ve made an english saddle, and never a dressage one, so it should be interesting. 😉 I’ve also wanted to make a Queen’s Guard set since the Royal Wedding madness, but I’m still working on gathering reference pics for that, haha!
If only my wrists would heal up some, I could get started!

And you’re very welcome! I like reading your blog… your pictures are always nice. 🙂 I don’t comment on blogs as nearly as often as I should, but that’s something I’m trying to get a little better at.

      1. Great! I look forward to reading all about it. The Queen’s Guard set should be interesting. What a lot of fun!

        🙂 Thank you. I try.

I’m also trying to comment a bit more on blogs. Hence these comments, haha.
