While the novice show jumping was going on, cross country was also in full swing. My attention span kept jumping back and forth, and I found myself wishing I could be in two (or three or four) places at once.
The cross-country course is huge and rather demanding. Most spectators park themselves on “spectator hill” and watch the action from a distance.
I’m ok with this… for a little while. Once the competitors made it through the obstacles at the base of the hill, they wound around it and disappeared from sight, so I ended up moving around a lot.
These are from the CCI2* and CIC3* divisions.
I’m not sure what happened here but hey, blue stirrups!
I would like this shot a lot more if I didn’t cut off the tail… argh! I had this problem a lot. 😛
