Egh. It’s been a rough week.
Losing Kitty was expected. She was fighting with cancerous tumors and had been growing steadily worse. Knowing that didn’t make it any easier though. I’m somewhat comforted by the fact that she’s no longer in pain, but mostly, it just hurts. I miss her terribly.
I haven’t been feeling well, so I haven’t been really interested in models, but today I figured I would give a rope halter a try…
It’s got some fit issues (this is only my second attempt…) and was incredibly frustrating to make. (Fiador knot? Hahaha NOPE!) But I’m happy enough with it and will probably make more in more colors… whenever my patience re-sets itself, I guess.

An easy(easier at least!) way to learn the fiador knot is to print out a picture that shows the path really clearly and then lay the string down on it:)
