July Update

Apparently it’s becoming a tradition to neglect my blog every spring, then come back around BreyerFest time. BreyerFest has a way of re-sparking my interest in the hobby. I always enjoy all the pictures and the excitement is contagious. Maybe one of these years I’ll go (I say that every year…) but until then, I’m grateful that I can participate virtually, on my own time.

Speaking of BreyerFest, I was pleasantly surprised to see a ribbon sash included with this year’s Celebration horse, Bravour 54:

Last year Breyer had me create a couple of ribbon sashes for them, but I didn’t know what they would be used for. The second was included in the re-release of Carltonlima Emma:

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen a new saddle I have in the works. This one is based off a pattern by Shannon Granger-Peele of Riversong Saddlery, and while progress has been slow, it’s coming together nicely. It’s nearly complete now, I just have a few more things to work on.

Aside from that, and some badly needed deep organizing of my workroom, (why do I have so much stuff?!) I don’t have much else to update this post with. 😊 Life has been good. Busy, but good, and I’m doing very well. I’ve been making new friends, getting out more and trying new things. Old creative interests have been re-kindled, and I’ve been rotating through my various hobbies.

Have a nice weekend everyone, especially those of you headed to Kentucky, either in person or virtually!
