Finished… with a few days to spare! š I got the flights and ribbons completed today, so all was left was to dress the horse up and get pictures taken.
I am really happy with how the entire set came together.
There are things that bug me and of course there is always room for improvement, but I think it’s ok?
I hope so!
I’ve found it really hard to find any information on sets like these (as well as showing a Suffolk Punch in general) on the internet, so I’m hoping that I got it right… or close to right, anyway. š
I am so happy it’s finished, and kind of relieved too.Ā I’ve wanted to make this horse tack since I got him – I’m glad NMTM gave me the extra push to get it done! ^_^
Wow! That is absolutely amazingly stunning! I would be proud to trot around the ring looking like that! š P.s I really enjoy your blog.
Amazing! Your such an awesome tack-maker! I would love to be able to make something that detailed!
Very nice work ‘ BRAVO!!!!
Very, very impressive! I love all the details. Thank you for sharing the process–I’ve enjoyed it!
What a dapper Suffolk Punch! Great job, and thank you for sharing the process. š
Looks great! Well done!
It’s so Beautiful! š How did you get the ribbons in the mane and tail to stay on?
Sticky wax. š Each ribbon/bow has a small square of paper glued to the back of it, which helps the wax stick to the model.
Cool! Where would you purchase that kind of item?
I actually use dental wax! It can usually be found around the toothbrushes/paste/etc in stores. š
Oh, yeah. I still have some leftover from when I had braces! š Do you think that will work?
Question: how do you make the picture links for your Tutorial and Printable pages???
I make them in Photoshop š
No offense, but I mean the links themselves.
It looks great!
I love this!
