Rebecca Farm – Cross Country Jumps

During the last round of show jumping at the event, I wandered off to walk the cross country course. Since there was no chance of being run over by a competitor I was able to walk around and collect lots of photos.

The course basically goes around a large hill, (Spectator Hill) and all of the jumps/obstacles are really creative and fun. This is just a sampling of them… there were others I didn’t get up close to. Since cross-country finished up the day before, some things (like the red and white flags) were already taken down.

This one looked like a little house.

There were garden gnomes on the front porch.

They look kind of terrified… but if you had horses galloping towards and jumping over your house I bet you’d feel the same XD

There’s also a train:

Two large pink ribbons mark the end of the course. The pink ribbons everywhere are for an initiative called Halt Cancer at X, to raise money for breast cancer research.

Stay tuned for the arena jumps! šŸ™‚
