During the last round of show jumping at the event, I wandered off to walk the cross country course. Since there was no chance of being run over by a competitor I was able to walk around and collect lots of photos.

The course basically goes around a large hill, (Spectator Hill) and all of the jumps/obstacles are really creative and fun. This is just a sampling of them… there were others I didn’t get up close to. Since cross-country finished up the day before, some things (like the red and white flags) were already taken down.

Also, I found Jurassic Park.

This one looked like a little house.
There were garden gnomes on the front porch.

Here’s one shaped like a belt and boots:
There’s also a train:
Two large pink ribbons mark the end of the course. The pink ribbons everywhere are for an initiative called Halt Cancer at X, to raise money for breast cancer research.

Stay tuned for the arena jumps! š
I think my favourite is the cowboy hat, but they’re all really creative!
What an amazing variety of jumps! Someone sure had fun creating them all. Thanks for sharing; can’t wait to see more…
Those dinosaur jumps are hilarious, but I think my favourite has to be the moose. XD
