It’s been a few weeks, but I finally had time to add the final details to this saddle.
I’m pretty happy with how it came together. Each saddle I complete (this is #7) teaches me a lot.
I tried to make it fit the Yvonne/Gracie doll (I really need to give mine a makeover π
) and I’m not sure if I accomplished that? It’s better than previous saddles at least.
I’ve been doing more studying on western saddles so I’m eager to start on the next!
That looks amazing! Well done!
It looks exactly like my real size saddleπ
I love it! π π
WOW DE WOWZER!
I’ll take a real one just like π that for my Abby Girl mustang!
Amazing!
Beautiful saddle! π
Really nice job, I haven’t seen the notch for a flank strap before. It looks like your stitching has thread in it! OMG How much more real can it get. Please don’t feel my next comment is a bummer, but the doll looks like she is sitting on the cantle, I have the same problem with mine. I feel the problem is with the doll, can’t seem to spread her enough to nestle down into the seat. Do you agree? I am new at this. Best regards, Pauline
Thank you! And I agree. It’s difficult to get her to sit properly. I’m not sure if it’s the shape of the seat, or the length/position of the stirrups, or something else.
Beautiful!
Love it! Everything you make is so detailed and beautiful!
I just got through working on a saddle, and my doll sits the same way.
This is beautiful. I can’t quite figure out how you did the strings (this is a compliment). It’s so true that every saddle teaches you more. Great work!
It’s beautiful!
Wow it looks Amazing
Amazing! I think you should try making western breast straps to go with the saddle.
